Our Wedding

Our Story

We met in Arizona through mutual friends (shoutout Sam and Abbie), and our connection was immediate. After spending the summer together we quickly knew that there was no turning back. After two years of long distance and countless trips between Scottsdale, Nashville, and Waco, we began our journey in Dallas with our two perfect dogs, Archie and Rebertá. For Shelby’s birthday, we took a trip, though only Austin knew where we were going. The surprise didn’t stop there. On a beach in Maui he proposed. Cherry on top, she said yes! Our first trip together, years earlier, was to Sedona, a quick getaway we couldn’t help but extend. It feels only natural that we’re headed back there to get married. We’re excited to celebrate with our family and friends in Sedona! Look forward to an intimate weekend of good food, laughter, and time together in a place we both love.

Black Tie Optional

While the wedding party will be in black tie, guests are not expected to wear tuxedos. Suits, formal dresses, and elevated evening attire are warmly encouraged.Our ceremony and cocktail hour will celebrate the beauty of Boynton Canyon. Because desert canyon temperatures drop quickly after sunset and paths include stone and lawn areas, we recommend ladies choose block heels or wedges and bring a cozy wrap or fur jacket for the evening.
